About DEBRA WILDE

Debra A. Wilde IACC, MBE, is an entrepreneur, interior designer, and color consultant. Architectural Digest recognized her as “One of the Outstanding Interior Designers in Oregon,” in 2001. Resume of projects include residential, multi-family housing, hospitality, commercial, educational, and healthcare facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest and Midwest. In addition to design, furnishings, and color, Ms. Wilde is a window covering specialist for shades and blinds and has many years of experience designing custom window treatments.

Past clients include Mount Angel Towers Senior Living, Imperial Woodworking CO for Louis Vuitton Portland, Metro, Oregon Convention Center, University of Oregon, Romania Enterprises, Bowen Property Management, Best HQ, and numerous residential customers.

In San Diego, Ms. Wilde became an accredited consultant of the International Association of Color Consultants and Designers (IACC), The Art and Science of Color in the Built Environment. Studies addressed all varieties of the built environment which is reflected in her resume. She graduated with honors for her thesis, creating a design-thinking methodology to gauge color preference responses in relationship to environmental design for personal benefit and evolution. She is a member of the IACC-NA of North America and is passionate about the aesthetic, scientific, and psychological application of color in the architectural environment, in our businesses, in our homes, and around our bodies, and approaches all projects from this perspective. Ms. Wilde also has a BA in Fine Art and Communication, Integrated Arts, studying color in painting, dance, and theater, from Southern Illinois University.  

Her design-thinking methodology evolved into the subject of her two books on amazon and a color card deck is under development.
